How much for this tank

friend of mine wants to sell me a used(though only for about 5 months) 54G bow front with a wet/dry filter light and stand setup. but I'm not sure what thats worth in US Dollars.

he paid at least 600 maybe closer to 800. but he was doing a marine setup so he was buying coral and such too. I know he said the wet/dry filter was very expensive. plus the bow front tanks aren't cheap and the custom stands are just as bad.

I never pay more than half the retail price for something that's second hand. How close I pay to half depends on the condition of what I am buying.

I'd say around $300, but of course it depends on what you can afford!

Why don't you go and check prices at a LFS? I bought a 70 gals with bow front, with filter, lights and cabinet for 1200 AUD, that's around 900 USA.

actually looks like I'm gonna get the 54G bow fron on a trade. plus s 37G on another deal and if I decide I can part with the money I may go pickup a 55G setup too. hmm my girl is gonna kill me that'll make 2 5G 1 46G 1 54 G 1 37G and 1 55G.
