Depends on size and quality. Work has 2" at £6-99, 4" at £10-99 and *did* have some 6" at £28-99. 6" Clownloach though were going for nearer £40 in QSS on my last visuit... This said, your area also affects the price you pay for these fish.

Remember they get to 12-15" as adults, and need a group of 4+, so you need a big, 6ft+ sized tank for them

The the 6" ones must be realy cheap and poor quality, or they are selling at a loss Work can't buy decent clown loach in for that before overheads and mark-up, let alone after it....

Yer, that would be possible, and quite likely now I've thought about it, though work can get XL fish at about 9-10" of their importers. They would be extortionately priced for that size though... £5 for a 6" Clown Loach though, that's a deal and a half
