That depends on what fish you want to keep, and what your maintenance schedule is like. Can you fill us in on that info?

the guideline for beginners is one inch of fish per gallon

Although 1 inch per gallon "rule" is common, I really don't like it. 2 x neon tetra does not equal 1 x platy, even though their length may equal.

If we can somehow measure the total weight of all fishes in the tank, that would be more accurate...

If you could give dimentions of your tank, that could help... Is it something like 2ft by 1ft by 1ft?

2 bettas

The fish in the 6th pic down looks like a gourami to me. perhaps a honey gourami?

there are a few fish that dont seem to appear on your list - the two yellow/orange ones on the right of the second picture, and the one in the last pic. which of these did you want us to identify? what are the others?

lol i hate to say this but when i brought my fish i just look for the colorful ones but now im am really in to it i want to no the names ) so if anyone can tell me the names of my fish i would be very thankful! My Webpage

I don't wanna sound like I'm lecturing... but what if you'd accidentally got a fish that grows huge? or that needs specialist care that you didn't know about?

K enough of that. onto the fish.

The fish in the second picture (on the "fish one by one" bit, after the neons.) is a guppy. I t hink it's a female.

the next fish is a honey gourami.

the next fish is some kind of livebearer, either a platy or a female swordtail? I dunno much about livebearers, someone help me out!

the next fish is another livebearer. platy? molly? like i said someone needs to offer a second opinion.

I dont see this fish:

in that section, nor do I see the two bettas you mentioned earlier.

yeh my other 2 bettas died for some reason might have been because i didnt do a water change
