quick question how many types of synodotis are there

According to wikipedia there are 120 Synodontis species, planet catfish shows 123. So, I'd say around 120.

i would think a few more than that because theres alot of hybrids aswell

I could be wrong, but I believe from a taxonomic point of view hybrids are not counted as a species.
