How Many Platies Should I Have?

I have 3 platies, is that enough? Would it be better if I had more?

3 Platies is ok, I wouldn't add more with the number of other fish you have, seems perfect at the moment in numbers.

What size is the tank you have and how many other fish (And what sort of fish) do you have?

Also, do you have males or females? I would recommend only having males to prevent getting overrun by fry. If you DO want a mixed group with fry every few weeks, make sure you have 1 male and 2 females. 2 males would over pester the 1 female and could kill her from their constant mating attempts.

Tank is 64l, 6x black widow tetras, 7x black neon tetras, 4x peppered copies, 3x platys (not sure if they are male or female)

Ideally you should have 1 male to 2 females to stop aggression... You can tell their sex by using this picture, it's very easy to tell

Ok thanks, by the looks of it I have 1 male, 2 females
