How Many Loaches?

About how many khuli loaches could you put into a new tank. With no other fish.
First,
10 g.
20 g.
29 g.
etc.

Just wondering, thought it would be cool information to know.
Feel free to post any other questions that you like about khuli loaches someone ought to answer them.

I put 4 in my 29 gallon knowing they like groups, and very rarely see them....so I am thinking the group is not large enough, or they don't care for the hidey holes, when I do find them they are inside my bogwood. If I ever do kuhli's again I think it will be a tank centered around them with other possible tank mates just to fill in the top, instead of them being added as the extras. I like them and would like to see more of them!

khulis are great, for the best result get as many as poss, at lest 7 imho.
