Can I keep 1 comet goldfish 1 shubunkin goldfish and a telescope eye goldfish in a 56 gallon aquarium because the shubunkin and telescope eye have been living there a while now they can easily outgrow there 14 gallon tank and the comet is about to outgrow our small pond.

Not with the comet, because the comet will out-compete the other two for food.

If the tank is a 4ft one, I would say it *maybe*, it *may* be possible to have a few more fancy (and only fancy) goldfish in there, but it all depends on your filtration and tank dimensions.. and I personally would want a larger tank for any goldfish, then would keep them in a large group with some other coolwater fish, like weather loaches.. but there's no question that a 56 gallon is a great improvement on a 14 gallon for everyone.

The only problem that I had when all of them lived together is that the comet got 6 inches long in a couple of months

I herd that u can keep danios with goldfish is this true

It is a possibility with fancy goldfish, if you keep the water at 18 C.. but goldfish will eat any fish which may fit into their mouths and again, there is the question of competition for food: danios, without a doubt, are a lot more active compared to fancy goldfish. Personally, I would not mix the two. If I was ever to consider it, it would be only if I had a 6*2*2 ft tank for the goldfish.

Long-bodieds (comets, shubunkins, etc.) should get lots of space, 125 BARE MINIMUM for them. Get them setup right and the telescope can stay in the 56 with a few others.

If I was to ever keep goldfish again in an aquarium, I would want a 4*2*2 ft aquarium for fancy body shape or a 6*2*2 ft for common body shape.

you said in your 1st post that you have a pond? wouldnt it be possible to make the pond any bigger giving the fish more room

not really. as its closer to 50 for the first fish and 20 for each extra one. plus 5 fish in a 55 will need an enormous filter.
and the higher the temp, the more food your comets require. the bigger filter you need.

Stocking has MUCH more to do with water changes than actual volume. Yes, with enough water changes you can have 5 or 6 fancy goldfish in a 55. However, with in adequate water changes 1 or 2 is too many. Keep the nitrate concentration under 20ppm before a water change and they will be fine. Those guides are just that, guides and not rules. The guides are based on real life examples and should be considered, but they aren't laws. Water changes can completely change ruin a 'properly' stocked tank or keep an 'overstocked' tank in better condition than almost any other tank.
