how many gallons

hi my new tank is 3ft , by 1ft and 14 inches to the top of the water how many gallons is this does any one know , i tried to work it out but it went pear shaped, thanks

about 26 US gallons, but also take into account substrate and ornaments affect this

I calculate 28.27 but thats with no gravel and water full to the top. As stated before you have to take into account everything else that is in the tank.

Water volume: 99.13 litres 26.17 gal(US) 21.81 gal(imp/UK)

excluding the substrate and other things inside.

Just being a maths nerd now but...

All the tanks that I've ever measured that were "12 inches front to back" are really 11.5 inches when measured on the inside... the length is also most likely .5 inch smaller than 3 foot. This is accounting for the .25 inch thick glass (exterior dimensions were probably what dawn listed.

This makes the aquarium : 24 US Gal ; 91 Liters ; 20 UK Gal

But by this point we're being over analytical (well I am at least ). I'd say, call it a 25 Gal tank (although that is a slightly odd size).

If you want to be sure what it is you may want to check out the website for All-Glass the aquarium manufacturer. They list a ton of dimensions and the gallonage of each one.
