I have a125 gallons tank n at first I added 4 platties and one male swordtail. The tank was recently cycled . The second day the male swordtail n 1 platty disappeared n never showed up again. Then I added my fish from 2 smaller tanks I added 3 part gouramies, 4 yoyo loaches, 1 white molly, 1 black molly 2 Panda mollies, 3 silver platties, 1 dwarf gouramie, 2 serpae tetras, 1 spotted Raphael catfish, 1 siamise algae eater 2 brown cories 2 albino cories, another male swordtail, 3 female swordtail, 1 baby female swordtail, 1 baby black Molly both I raised from tiny fry. Then I got carried away of having a big tank n bought 2 Panda mollies, 2 more silver platties, 3 koi platties, 2 more pearl gouramies 3 red flame gouramies, 5 Australian something, 3 more yoyo loaches. And yes I know u can't have different kinds of gouramies together but I'd seen YouTube videos of tanks with different kind of gouramies living together so I took a shot.
Well one of my filters lost the strainer so 1 yoyo loach n my baby black Molly got sucked in into the filter n died. Then 1 peral gouramie died, then 1 red flame gouramie died another wasn't looking the greatest n today I found it dead. My long time adult black molly was dead too, 1 of my female swordtail was dead, 3 black yellow Panda mollies were dead a fourth one is nowhere to b found,
I'm sure I totally over stocked this tank.
How many fish should I have to have a healthy tank ?
