HOW MANY FISH???

Hi all I'm new and after some advice, my new tank is a Juwel Rekord 96

The aquarium includes the following:
Light tube: 1 x 18W 24"Juwel Filter System:
CompactPower head:
201/204Heater: 100W
Volume approx. 96 litres

Aquarium Cabinet
width =81 cmdepth = 36 cmheight = 46 cm width = 81 cmdepth = 36 cmheight = 73 cm

IT HAS BEEN SET UP FOR 4 MONTHS AND FISH CONSIST OF: 4 PLATTIES, 4 MOLLIES, 4 SML ALBINO CATFISH, 4 SML CLOWN LOACH, AND ABOUT 15 NEONS. IS THIS OK? I AM NOT HAVING ANY PROBS WITH IT (TOUCH WOOD) BUT AM WONDERING IF THIS ENOUGH FISH OR CAN I GET MORE? THANKS ALL

Well apart from the clown loaches everything looks fine, you do no they will need a 90gal tank, wouldn't add anymore to much strain on the filter.

Well, the tank is too small for clown loaches for a start. They get up to (and over) 12 inches in length, so I'd take them back asap. It seems either fully stocked or just right, get rid of the clown loaches first.

I'll Have the clown loaches til they get too big then my friend is going to re-home them for me in a very large tank, is this OK?

Well how big are they as you can stunt there growth in a small tank.

They are about an inch long at the moment. They seem fine and have plenty of room to swim. When they are too big is it OK to rehome them?

Yes rehome them or they will ge stunted and it not a life for them in a 20gal.

I HAVE ALSO GOT 4 GLASS CATFISH FORGOT TO MENTION THIS. SO YOU RECKON GET RID OF CLOWN LOACH? DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM MY MATE CANT HAVE THEM FOR A WHILE. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

An lfs might take them off your hands if they have no desease and give you store credit.

COOL THANKS. APART FROM CLOWN LOACH WOULD YOU SAY TANK IS FULLY STOCKED?

If you added another filter and you rehomed the clown loaches you should be able to fit a shoal of harlequins in there,or something that size, as neons tetra are small waste producers.
