How many fish in a 100l tank?

You are fully if not overstocked, rainbow sharks need at least 40 gallons but 50 is better.

Im sorry to say there is a few issues with the stock you already have.

Like Cryptfan has mentioned the Rainbow shark needs a much bigger tank (at least 120cm in width) and male Betta's should really be in a tank of their own. They can become stressed when with tank mates

Actually male bettas get along quite nicely in a community, neon tetras are also one of the best fish you can keep with them. Checkout aquarium co op’s YouTube channel, he keeps his bettas with almost every type of community fish.

The shark may be OK now but it has the potential to turn nasty.

You'll see from the link that they do need large tanks, and fish kept in tanks that are too small often show more aggressive behaviour - and this fish is known to become aggressive as it grows even when kept in large tanks. Keep an eye on things and be prepared to act if necessary.

Have to respectful disagree.

This subject comes up very often on fish forums and Sometimes certain Betta's may tolerate other species in a community tank, but this shouldnt be expected.

Cory from aquarium co-op is a business man and earns a living from selling fish so not everything he tells you will be 100% honest IMO. (Last time i checked he had a new section dedicated to just Betta's )

Do you know your GH (general hardness) this will tell us how soft/hard you water is.

Fish like your Neon's for example prefer soft water. You can attain this information from your local water boards website if needed. We need the measurement and unit. (ppm or dgh)

Keeping a male Betta in a community tank is risking the fish, and the other fish, and frankly can be seen as inhumane. None of us can ever know a fish is "happy." The fact that we may not perceive physical aggression either way does not mean the fish are not sending out aggressive signals, and these pheromones and allomones affect the other fish that read them, causing stress and worse. Understanding the basic inherent behaviours and needs of a species, and then providing for those and not attempting some experiment, is kinder to our fish.

It may well be fine, right up to the day when it is no longer fine and the beta goes on a killing spree. Just co-incidently there are a couple of active threads on neons dying for no apparent reason - and they are in tanks with betas .

Its really not a risk worth taking.
