I have 8 bettas,

1 Blue HM: Fasolt
1 Blue/Black CT: Donner
1 Multi-color CT: Froh
1 Red CT: Loge
3 plakats: Mime, Alberich, Hagen
1 Multi-color VT: Siegmund

If I find one that tickles my fancy, I may get another. Cleaning the bowls has proven easier than I anticipated. I think I've kept bettas off and on for about 10 years out of the 15 or so I've kept fish. But I've only kept only one or two at most, not the 8 I have now, and have never breed them. My longest lived betta, a red/brown VT, George the III, a real poopy betta. He was really messy, he lived for 3.5 years.

29 so far...20 boys and 9 girlies. Been a fishaholic for a couple of years now, 2-3?

I just have one right now, but he's a good one. His job is to be the "Guardian Betta" in a tank of young C. pandas that I am raising. Watching over a bunch of teenage corys is a rough job, but someone's got to do it! :D

I've only had bettas for a couple of years but hope to have them far into the future.

8...6 males, 2 females. I've been keeping bettas since I've started keeping fish...maybe about 5 years? My oldest betta I've had for atleast 3 years, so he's around 3.5 years to 4 years.

13 males (11 are plakats)
11 females (7 are plakats)
40 plakat fry 5-week old
100 plakat fry 1-week old

At this moment, I have 14 Bettas!!! Gawd, that sounds like so much :look:

But, by Sunday I'll only have 5-6. I just got 2 shipments of beautiful Bettas, and 8-9 will be going to the CBS auction with me on Saturday.

iv ahd up to 8 at one time before, but im down to 4 now, iv been keeping bettas off and on throghout my life but it wasn't until last year about this time that i really got hooked on them.

got 9 myself, only been a bettahaulic for around 4-6 weeks, would have more except my wife controls the money and we live in an apartment. honestly if it wasn't for my wife we'd be broke, and probably out on the streets. hoping to eventually buy some good breeding stock, probably not until Christmas or my Birthday next year, unless I'm able to come by some sooner. By the way---I have 4 reddish females in a ten, 1 cream female in a 1 gallon and another blue female in a 1 gallon, My 3 guys are in containers---1 in a blue tinted round plastic 1 1/4 gallon container, 1 in a round 2 gallon container which had cheese balls in it which we bought for the kids at SAMS wholesale, and the last one is in a square container which also holds 2 gallons--this one contained animal crackers also bought at SAMS.

Every time a thread like this comes up I have to count my fish

ATM I have

3 plakat males(1 is a DT)
1 plakat female
8 VT males
1 DT male
1 CT male
6 VT females

For a total of 20. Wow, I didn't know it was that many :S

The scary part is water change day, that sure takes a while. I can only imagine what it is like with more. :hyper:

I have 5 bettas currently; 4 males and one female. I have only been seriously keeping bettas for a year (previously, my mom had two that were just in vases or some ####), and the greatest # I had at any point was 12. They were mostly hospice bettas though so it wasn't like they lasted long.

I currently have a wonderful VT I rescued from the evil Wal-Mart. I had others over time, but I consistently run into trouble with them. :dunno:

Being very careful with my new guy (Winston).

One :p

Finnigan gets all my attention these days as he's my one and only fish.

How does someone get away with just having 1!? :dunno: I need lessons on how to say no...

I sometimes wish I had only one so I could pour all of my time, money, and attention into it. I hate it when I get really busy on tank cleaning day and only have time to clean half of my fish; makes me feel like I'm in over my head and not caring for them properly. But, that rarely happens, so it is probably me just being an over-paranoid fish mom.
