How many does a guppy give birth to in one go.

Is it like 2 or 3 or is it 10-20 or more?

Its usually around 15-20 for the first birth and then for a mature guppy up to about 50! The babies may be released over a period of a few days and quite a lot will undoubtably get eaten but in a tank with some plants and ornaments a few should make it to adulthood without any special care.
