I have a 35 gallon tank now holding some of our pond Koi along with some Goldfish... How many are too many in a tank?

I have about 14 fish in this tank ranging from 5-6 inches to 1 inch....

Here are some picture of them.......... They look kinda crowded in some of the pictures, but they are just all at the buttom of the tank because I had just fed them. It's an upright octagonal size tank.

Thanks...

Lovely fish but you are well overstocked for a 35gal you should have only 3 in there, hope you have a huge filter for the waste, are they going in the pond soon.

Yeah, have a huge filter and another 55 gal tank downstairs with more Koi in it. We had a tragic accident over the winter, somehow the liner of our pond tore and the water slowly leaked out... We lost about 5 HUGE Koi, so had to bring the rest in.
They are all going back out in about a month, when we get the liner fixed.

That's fine then, some of them look lovely.

lovely looking fish

as they will only be in there a month or so i think they will be ok but any longer and they will need a few bigger tanks

Great pics

with that many messy fish in there keep well up on water changes and keep feeding low.

good luck with getting your pond sorted.
