How Long Will The Fry Be Okay?

This weekend we are going camping for three days. I have a 20 gallon tank with mollies, platies, and a few guppies in it, a 2nd tank with several guppies, and a 1 gallon tank wich houses ummm..........12 fry now (I think!). I know that the two larger tanks will be okay for the three days w/out food (I think), but what about the 1 gallon with the fry? Any ideas? I could get my mom to feed them I think, but I would hate to ask anotherthing of her, as she is going to be responsible for the dogs, while we are away.

If you could get your mom to feed at least one of the days (Probably the middle day) the fry should be fine... The should be fine anyways but fry do like to be fed a lot so it would surely help to feed them.

If you do give your mom the task of feeding them be sure to only give her the amount you would feed them, not the whole thing of food. Prepare it for her and put it in portions so she can't overfeed. The fry should be fine

If you're REALLY concerned about the fry, trim the tops off a couple of plants and let them float in the fry tank; I'm sure they'll find enough microscopic goodies to pick at until you get home.
