my lfs got a new stock of cardinals and cherry barbs in that I have been waiting for. How long should I wait until i buy them from them? ( or just how long should i let them acclimate at the petshop)

- also I have 3 cardinals and they are kinda feisty, see them chase eachother a little every day. never do physical damage though, and the smallest one almost seems protective over the are above a pot. This odd? or are they just waiting for more cardinal buddies?

- what do you guys recommend feeding tetras/ hatchetfish/ cherry barbs to mix up their diet?
right now i feed them flake and brine once a week, im looking for something that they will love and is relatively inexpensive. Daphnia?

thanks for the help
:p

the first part ya post bout acclimatise in LFS I dunno, but regards foods daphnias good my fish go nuts over it also my dad got sample tub with some bits he bought its tetrapro colour food the more predatory fish like our black widows, chiclids, firemouths, and paradise fish snap it up in no time so that may be worth looking at the flakes have a red dot in the middle which is why I think the predator fish like em what ever the reason try it out m8 and being colour food its gonna b lil extra beneficial to.

thanks for the reply, so my tetras will be able to eat daphnia's. I'll feed them those, flake, and frozen brine shrimp.

Anyone else?

Blood worms, mirco pellets(my neons love them) so im think the cardinals will to

and i would wait about 4 days to a week so all the runts and unhealth ones of the litter

die off.
