Rehome him as soon as possible. Chinese Algae Eaters don't actually eat a lot of algae nor do they eat 'diatom algae'. Its better and easier to sell him now while he is small and cute. FYI the only fish that eat 'diatom algae' are Otocinclus and these are much more suited to your tank.

I put 5 CAE a few weeks back, thinking they were otos and they clean the tank of the diatom in just a few hours, but as soon as i notice they were CAE i took the back to LFS, but the diatoms are back, and my plants haven't arrive yet, so most of the plants are fake, and i need to eliminate this diatoms, i think 1 CAE can take care of the algae cause it gows slow, but for how long he will eat algae??

You don't seem to understand me...Chinese Algae Eaters are not suitable for your tank.
