how long for sickness to go away

how long does it take for ich to go away. i know there are lots of topics of ich, but i couldnt find one about this.

i found an early case of ich on my rummies, which i think occured from my water temp changing to much over the day. well i moved them to my 10g and the spots are almost gone. they had maybe 5 spots max, and now they look all fine excepot one with 1 or 2 spots.
can it raelly take only 24 hours to get rid of an early case of ich? i added a tbsp of salt also, half the dose, but i put in some to maybe help.

don't be fooled, the visible symptoms of ich can go away within 24 hours, however the parasites as well as any eggs can stick around unnoticed for quit sometime. I recommend continuing medication for 8+ days before moving them back into their home.

when you don't see the cysts[ white spots] is when the parasite is free swiming and in search of a host . This said to be the best time to kill them . continue treating your tank [tanks] for the period specified by the meds manufacturer. You will need to raise the temp for treatment[SOMETIMES AS HIGH AS 84 DEGREES USE EXTRA AERATION ] . Ick parasites thrive in lower temps . Follow the instrutions on the lable and be patient, water changes and aquarisol have woked in the past .[IMO]
