How Long Does It Take Blood Parrots To Change Color?

Hi We just bought 6 baby BPs last week, they are about 4cm long, so like how long/ how big do they turn color ?

Are they red already???
They do lose some colour as they grow but it's usualy 18 months to 2 years or so and they should keep the pink/orange colour at least.
Painted fish (injected rubbish) lost their colour after a year or so.

If they are still in their brown juvie colours then it really depends. I have had them change completely as small as 2" and some of over 4" have not until then.
