How Long Do You Leave Your Lights On?

My Actinics are on are for 10 hours and my main lights are on for 8 hours, moonlights at night.

How long does everyone light for, and whats lights are you running, T8, T5, PC's MH's etc.

Just want to guage what everyones doing.

I use twin 150MH with 2 actinics

1st MH on at 8am off 730pm

2nd MH on at 9am off 8pm

Acts on at 7am off 10pm

Works for me, took advice of the old fenner book 14-16hrs actinics, 10-12 for ur main lights.

mhs on from 8:30 AM TILL 8:30 pm. i leave a 15 min gap between tunring the frist one out. i look at it from the point of the LFS. they just turn them all off at the same time. dont seem to hurt them. i will be getting one of these moon light thing though soo which should help them a bit.

Actinics 11 hours, daylights 10 hours, all PCs.

Until I can buy corals, I leave my lights on for 8hours-ish.

actinics 13 hrs (both t5's & pc's) 9a-10p
10k's 11 hrs (both t5's & pc's) 10a-9p

how do you guys run your sump lights in comparison to your main lights? i have heard you should alternate their on/off cycles opposite of eachother...forgot why though..

PC Actinics: 12 hours
MH: 8 hours

Eeel tank (T8)

On: When I get in or remember
Off: When I go to sleep

Empty curing tank (PC)

On: 24/7

Reef #1:

MH for around 6-8hrs
T5's for around 10hrs
Moonlights on at night for my viewing pleasure, no set time, probably about 1hr.

Reef #2:

T8 on when I ge up, off when I go to bed!
