Just occurred to me that mine seem to have been around for quite a while. With the cherries, I know they're breeding, so it's not the same ones I'm looking at, but that can't be the case with the amanos and they never seem to grow less.
 
I don't know for certain but I've had mine for about 5-6 years so far and still going strong!
