I had a party in my house and someone had turned my filter off
The thing is i didnt notice it until i woke up the next day. I think it was maybe off for about 10 hours or so.
My question is how long would it take for the good bacteria to die when the filter is not turned on?
I dont have any fish in my tank yet as i am currently fishless cycling. But i was so close to finishing the cycle. My Nitrites were spiking way of the chart, my nitrates were also getting pretty high. I'd be really unhappy if i have to start all over again. I've been doing the fishless cycle for almost 3 weeks now.

edit : Im sure the wee *$@* who turned it off was a 7 year old kid who was running about crazy all nite. I never did like kids
