My pond is done now bar a bit of tidying up etc

It took three hours to fill yesterday so has been full of tap water almost 24 hours. Now I know what to do with tanks having had so many over the years but I have no idea with ponds.. I'm itching to get some goldfish so I don't have to look at an empty pond lol

I'm going to get two goldfish to start with and gradually get more. The ponds about 650 gallon I think

I take it you have a filter?
if so, with a pond that size, I'd add 4-6 3 to 4 inch goldfish
and not add any more for a couple of weeks.
then slowly add more, say 3-4, each week until desired stock level is reached.

it would also be prudent to invest in a testing kit, one that contains ammonia and no2 would be best
and keep your eye on the levels, taking any appropriate action the test results reveal.

Yes its filtered

I spilt some mortar in today when doing the last course of block. I know cement can be poisonous I supose the same will apply to my pond?
