I am all for giving any of my pets lots of room to roam. But I've always wanted a salt water tank. We have some space in the hallway by our door, and our house is really small. I'm wondering, what is the smallest tank size you can have? I think I can get up to a.. 50 or a little more? I just want to make sure its enough before I go filling it up.

There's nothing to stop you setting up a very small marine aquarium. Some of the pico's are in single digits of litres, but they're a real pain to maintain and they can actually be quite expensive in kit.

Not sure what you have room for from your post, 50 gallons or litres? Generally the bigger the better, but a 50 litre tank would be a difficult start up in marine, but if you consider it, check out the nano threads. 50 gallons would be a better starter tank.
