How high can Bettas jump? I was thinking it would be cool to put high sides on the tank instead of a lid so they could jump if they wanted to but not get out.
Also, I heard that they like resting places on the surface, would a tall rock touching the waters surface be a nice resting place for a Betta? Would it be unable to get back into the water?

I have a Cellophane that has come out of the Pond.

He loves resting on top of the Filter so a little of him is out of the water.

A couple of the Females do this aswell, I can find them Half in Half out, on a Leaf or ontop of the Filter.

Weird Fishies.

No jumping from my bettas.. :( I got lids too. I hope it changes when I get my new ones, I've always wanted to see em jump.
