Hi, I've decided that before I get a bigger tank, I'll get a small one. Specifically, a 10g. The problem is, there's no fish stores around me that have saltwater fish, except one, and all they have is sand. No fish, no corals, no supplies. So if I get a SW tank, I'll have to get just about everything online. I want to know how hard this would be. The sites I plan on using are Dr Fosters and Smith, Liveaquaria, and maybe another site for liverock.

saltwaterfish.com has free shipping for all their fish i believe if not all, 90% of them. They're a well known reliable company.

TBH I wouldn't of though equipment would be a problem or even livestock. Ski will probably give you a link for LR.

Just bear in mind a few important factors:
You'll need to buy an RO/DI unit as although there are other possiilities (distilled, tap with conditioner etc) the method that comes out on tops every time is RO or a combination of RO/DI
Food, not so much an issue as most fish shops will order in products for you but you'll have to ask to be sure.
Additives, Rowaphos, Carbon, salt and all the other bits and pieces. You'll want to be able to get them quick should you need them. Again ask at you lfs they might be able to get them.

HTH

Sure you can do it, in fact I'd even reccomend buying most hardware online, way cheaper that way. For LR (and other livestock), make sure you check out premiumaquatics.com, the rock is under "livestock"

Thank you everybody. I guess it won't be too hard. Thanks for the links as well. Now I just have to save up the $$.
