I may purchase a bigger tank, but im wondering how hard it would be to maintain,i mean i know its not gonna be a walk in the park, but i mean how much water do i need to change etc?im not going to keep anything special, but i want to know from experience,

The procedure doesnt change based on the size of the tank. As long as you have enough filtration and a strong enough heater everything else is still like you do now. You still do your regular maintenance ie. testing levels cleaning filters, remove algae, 15% water changes(or whatever percent you do based on conditions and bio load in the tank) So other than it being larger and therefore taking longer to do some of these tasks there is really no big difference. HTH :)

the same maintenance is rquired, no matter the size of the tank, but by getting a larger tank you can keep a larger variety of fish.

The purchase (or construction) of a Python maintenance hose would make the tank very easy to do water changes, and you won't find the larger tank any more difficult to maintain then your small one.

you will probarbly find the larger tank will be a lot easier to maintain actually. the bigger the better and a lot more stable.
