How Fast They Grow - Cant Believe It

I cant believe how fast they grow. I use to have 4 apple snails but now only the one due to bad quality of the shop. But this one when I brought him was green with algue but where he has grown he has a lovely golden yellow to him and he must of put of a extra inch of new sell or more since getting him about 2-3 weeks ago. How big can they reach ?

My biggest is about 4.5cm (1.7") in diameter. And I'm pretty sure is fully grown.

I agree about how fast they grow. Seems like only yesterday my freshly hatched babies were the size of a pin head. It was actually about 8 weeks ago and so in 2 months they've grown to around 1.5cm!!

Yes i noticed the different when cleaning the tank out today. hes looking a lovely colour. will that algue part dissapear or stay with him the whole time? Also do you notice they are very sly? Ive got mine with a betta and I swear they play hide and seek from me !

Yes and they also play dead on you aswell. Great creatures to watch.

Lol, don't know about sly... but they do disappear every now n then.

And my Blue male has algae on him. I actually give him a quick clean every now n then. Doesn't seem to shift it though.

Yes i noticed they play dead, Thats how my betta tank got really bad. I had 4 of them in a 3G was moving two of them into bigger tank at end of week. They all apart from the one hinding from me now lol was playing dead i paniced and checked on them, They were still alive because their "door" was tight. Then I thought they were doing it again and turns out they were dead (At different times) and this bad my water smell so bad.

I dont beileve this algue will get off him as its like its painted of him when I went to clean it off him last time it wouldnt come off. I think if you used a electric sander it still wouldnt come off lol. DONT worry im not going too
