How fast does plecs grow?

my 2inch plec is the same size and hasnt grown for the 5 months i have had it. i feed it an algae wafer each night and he eats it, and regulary i feed my fish frozen blood worms. and sometimes the skin looks blotchy and then a minutle l8r its fine?

Maybe you just have a small species of pleco? We got both ours at about 1-2inches long. The common grew to about 12inches in 6 months and the gibbiceps grew to about 8inches in the same amount of time. We never fed them anything specific but I expect they ate some of the stuff we threw in for other fish, especially stuff for our turtle as they have similar dietry requirements.
