I swear, ever since I put my girl into my 10 gallon tank, she's grown considerably. The first thing I noticed was her tail was a little longer, and then I noticed her body was longer, and then I realized that her face wasn't so tiny anymore.
I imagine all that swimming space, coupled with eating frozen blood worms every other day in addition to hikari pellets daily, has aided in her growth spurt? (she's in a tank with ADFs, they eat frozen blood worms, hence, she eats frozen blood worms).
Or have I flown into ridiculousness?
Is it possible for a fish to even have a 'growth spurt'? She was smaller than my male betta when I put her in, now I could swear she's almost the same size, lengthwise -- she's obviously going to be ro under than he is, she's a girl.
I feel kinda silly for asking such a stupid question.
She just seemed really delicate when I put her in, now she looks like a little trout.
