How Do You Stop Golfdish Eating Loach's Food?

Just got a weather loach last night. He's in a tank with a few goldfish who are greedy eaters. They ate his sinking algae wafer before he got near it. How do I make sure the loach gets his food every day?

try feeding the loach after the lights are out

i would wait until evening as well to feed them, or feed gold fish on one end of the tank and shoot the loach food down quickly while they are distracted.

drop it down a tube to make sure it sinks to the bottom of the tank before the goldfish get a chance.
