I have done multiple searches on the net, and this forum with different variations of maracyn-two (maracynII, maracyn II, maracyn2, maracyn 2, maracyn two,..... I think that just about covers all of them). How has anyone on here who has used it done the dosages? Dilute it in a gallon of water first, then put so many drops in the hospital? I'm trying to treat a difficult case of fin rot that just won't go away with daily 100% water changes and 2 tsp of salt. Been thinking about doing salt baths, but can't really find any good info on those either. Does anybody know or have any good sites? Wait. Just had an idea. Does this sound crazy or will it work. Put 1 tablet in a 1 gallon jug, and divide it by 5 since 1 tablet is for 5 gallons. So 1 gallon is 16 cups, divided by 5 would be about 3 cups per gallon of water. Does that sound about right?

i haven't used the meds, but the maths sounds okay to me (then again i was never a maths major
edit: apparently i was not a mathS major or an english major

I had the same problem too when I went to medicate for just 1 betta in 1 jar. I tried diluting it in the water, but that was too hard to keep that extra medication water out of the way that I didn't use. I just divided up the indications by 1 gallon and took a knife and divided the pill down into as even sections as I could. Then I could just add a 1/8 piece, etc to the tank. It's not entirely precise, but I haven't had any problems doing it this way yet.
