How do you get a plec out of a tight nook in a piece of bogwood. Reason being in the next hour or so i have a someone coming over to collect two bristlenose plecs off of me. Now i've lowered the water to make it easier to catch, and cooled it slightly also so they are a little slower. But the next problem is they have wedged themselves into a tight nook in the wood. Both side by side, now how do i get them out. I've tried taking the wood out the water they just sit there. I've gently swayed it in the water they just sit there. I even gave them a cheeky poke, but they just sit there.

How do you get a plec out of the wood!?

Lol. Thanks in advance, James

Try slipping something thin down the front of them gently. It may temp them to stick to that instead of staying where they are.

Alessa x.

Don Not worry mate, I am sure we will think of something, just about to leave the house

Plecs are stubborn creatures, i used to swirl them about in a bucket and they soon pop out,

Yer, the big one is currently lodged in the wood in a bucket :p Haha, we'll get him out Gill when you get here :)

All is well, the plec is free :) Gills technique worked. Swirl the wood in a bucket and he soon came out :)
