When i brought one i only wanted on head he just cut it (with coral cuters) so yes! cut it as far down as your can away from the head! people get scared about this but its surprizes how tuffty they are

Job done mate, told you i could not wait  that was well easy, i used scissors and it broke pretty easy, I now has on with three heads and one with two :good:

Thanks

seffie, why dont you practice on your xenia, or some other soft coral? get to grips with it. if you want further info, look on youtube, there are some good vids on fragging.

I watched a guy cut a big Frogspawn on youtube, he made it look easy so i thought i would give it ago, both pieces are already out and looking good :good: it really was easy.

Seffie, whats a Divisia?

Thanks
VM

^^Euphillia Digidivisia is the latain name for the Frogspawn, so Divisia is slang for a true Frogspawn ;)

It is supposed to be easy to do, just upset the polyps sufficiently to be out of the way, and cut at the bace of where the heads branch. I would use a Junior hacksaw for a clean cut without special coral tools, but hey, each to their own... I will tell you how easy I find it fairly soon, as if the Torch takes off as it looks like it is going to, I will have to frag it iminantly

All the best

Oh dear, fingers typed faster than brain was able to keep up with  sorry to throw you a curve ball

Euphyllia Paradivisa - branching frogspwn
Euphyllia Divisa - wall type frogspawn, single skeleton

This is my divisa when a bit younger and being trampled on by a hermit! Grown lots now

Just for good measure this is my hammer, Euphyllia parancora, a few months ago, has grown quite a lot since then :good: and is growing a few more heads at the moment

Certainly want to get another of both but different colours - will probably get the branching frogspawn next (when I get a bigger tank or find a small one)
