I have a filter with one of those bio-wheels. I change the filter part every two weeks. The bio wheel is pretty brown. I wanted to just buy another one and I can't seem to find one. Can anyone tell me how you clean them?

Thanks

You shouldn't change or clean the bio-wheel unless it starts turning. The wheel is where most of your beneficial bacteria are and replacing it would start the cycle over again. If the wheel stops turning your can clean it in tank water, don't scrub it just get most of the gunk off. You also don't need to throw out the filter part every two weeks either, just rinse it out well in tank water and keep it until it starts falling apart. The manufacturers recommendations for replacing those are just so they can make more money. :good:
