hey guys.. long time no posting, but i have a question for you all..

im going to change my tanks which i house my 3 boys, so that theres only one filter doing all the work.. yes it will be big enough to coupe so dont worry.. ive got it all planned out, just need to iron the creases out,

all i was wondering is how do you al filter divided tanks, not barracks, tanks.

cheers all :)

This is what we've done with a couple of our tanks. At the end of the tubing we've put in some filter wool. Then made lots of holes at that end of the tubing....along it for about 4 inches. It works really well at moving the water around all the sections without the flow being too strong for them.

ohh.. thats not bad.. i was thinking of doin a sump and a wier on it. so it goes into a wier along the back, then drops down to the sump, goes thru there, and then pumps back up thru a spray bar just under the waters surface facing down.

this will be better in the hardware section, PM a mod to move it.
But i think the best options have already been stated. jUST MAKE SURE THE FILTER IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO get enough circulation to the last tank.

ps sorry about caps

tis ok lol.. and it should be.. im going to use a return pump from the sump to the first tank, and there will be a hole in the back of each tank, covered so they cant get thru it to the wier along the back. and i only put it in here so i could see how other people had filtered thier split tanks for the bettas, but hardly anyone wants to help out :(
