hi

i was wondering ive always wnted a four foot tank or a 3 foot tank but with more width in. so i want to make myself up a custom one

i was wondering what kinda materails do i need to maek a tank whats kinda glue/bond do i use. How thick of glass should be used and what type is approiete.

is there anything else i should consider be4 designeing one and building one, its gunna be a couple of month project since im gunna make a stand and cupbord for it too

I was looking into building a tank of my own, havn't colected enough info yet, but try http/saltaquarium.about.com/cs/aquariumd...lcustomtank.htm
for the thickness of the glass and there is also plans etc. for tanks and stands.

Do a search on google for G.A.R.F. ,I think the URL is www.garf.org...they have a tank size calculator that gives u everything including a cutting list an instructions

sounds good. My father built a tank cupboard for a 25 gallon he had. It was nice, dark stained wood and some designs within the wood itself.
