How Do I Use Carbon

ive got some high grade carbon to use for the soft corals and hard corals

and ive got a 200l/h internal will this be big enough all ive got

so what should use to put the carbon in should i use some tights or

and how long will the carbon last

Use some old tights / stocking to make a fliter bag and place in the internal.

I personally would not use one again, they will need some good regular cleaning.

it's the cleaning Bae, you will need to take it out each week and give it a good clean - could you keep the carbon in your skimmer?

ive got my home made internal where a power head attachess to a mesh sort of box wich the carbon could go in woulod that be any good

Yeah, sorry I meant the internal, my mum brought me my tea so I typed it a bit random, sorry.

I presume that is similar to a bubble stop so should work.

That would be better than an internal.

You may want to rinse the carbon well though.

You'll get a lot of media by-pass on that, so it probably wouldn't do too much I'd expect

yeah if i was to wrappe the carbon in the tights around the mesh intake of my external would it e better /ok

If you can get the carbon around the inlet without blocking it, that would be fine, but would be tricky to achieve I'd expect
