How Do I Transfer My Tropical Tank Into A Goldie One?

Hi all,
I have a cycled 4ft tropical tank, and tomorrow I'm hopefully going to take out all of the tropicals, and put in two 3 year old Orandas. I'll be checking all of the water specs before doing the transfer. Other than reducing the temp, is there anything else I should do before adding my new goldies?

You should put the goldfish in the tank as soon as posible after the tropical fish are removed as so to help prevent the beneficial bacteria dying off in the absence of the fish .

Yes I did that. I couldn't catch the Tetras, so the goldies and Tetras lived together for a few days until I could catch all of my Tetras .
