I will explain later, right now I need to know how to reduce these levels.
Ammonia 0.5ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 40-60ppm
Size of tank: 15g
Will do an 80% water change now. Also added some Seachem Prime.
Amount of guppies: 7
2 Harlequin Rasboras.
Couple shrimp.
Tank has been partially cycled

It's easy - water changes every day or two, at maybe 30%, til it settles down. I doubt the substrate should be disturbed. Just keep the water cleaner, and be working patient.

Thanks! Will do .. just finished water changing, will test see if it has gone down.

If it’s a temporary tank and will never be cycled, I would say change the water some every day or every other day. Just keep an eye on the test results test the water daily, once or twice.

Wait 24H after a WC before testing...what kind of test kit are you using?
