how do i prepare worms for the tank?

i want to feed my oscar earthworms as my lfs said it would be good for him,,never heard of it before so how would i prepare them for my tank..washing them ect.ect

Wash them off and cut them up in smal pieces works best for me. Taste great too! just kidding
