how do I post a picture?

When you write a post, you'll notice a 'Browse' button just above where you press to add the post.

Select this and then find the photo on your computer. You'll have to make sure it's a supported file, eg. j.peg and that it is under 100k

Ya there's an "File Attach" button with the browse thingy... Just make sure (like cheese specialist said) that it's under 100k and the width isn't over 600 pixels.. or else it will spit it back at you when you try to post!!!
