i have 3 african kenyi chiclids 2 are light blue with 3 dark blue stripes down the side and i hve one big orange one. i know the orange is male. when will i know if tey have laid eggs or even when they are big enough to lay eggs. thank you for readinghtis and please get back to me.
Lombardoi, like all mbuna, are mouthbrooders. you will know eggs have been laid because the female will have picked them up in her mouth. Her throat will appear swollen and she will stop eating at this point.
