how do i know if my neon is pregant ?

one of my neons at night stays in one of the plants why the rest are swiming and it is a lot fatter then the rest ? does this mean its pregant ? or is it ill

depends on where its fat at? i think lol im not to knoagable at breeding fish or spellingas a matter of fact

Neons are egg layers and if the female is full of eggs she will look a little larger than mormal but she wont be really large like livebearers get. If the fish is swimming normally and is still eating properly then it is most likely not sick. I have a couple of neons that just like to do there own thing and dont stay with the pack in the morning or the night but they do during the day. HTH
