How do I get snails?

I want snails in my tank. Appearently, people have snais randomly popping up in their thank. How?

urmm, gotta say why do you want snails, unless you've got something in the tank that'll eat them then they'll most likely end up being more of a hassle than they're worth. If you want a large snail to eat algae then you can get them in the lfs but the lil ones just multiply and rip plants to bits.

yeah also make sure you pick one that reproduces sexually only...or soon you will be amazed or frightened

and you will get snails

are you talkingthe big snails or the little nuisance snails that normally people are trying to get rid of? big snails = can buy at the lfs, ohter kind = often come on the live plants or you can ask your lfs for them (many will be more than happy to give them away for free, thats how i get them for my puffer) (but you really don't want these unless you have something that eats them, they will overtake the tank and cause you all sorts of problems)
