How Do I Get Rid Of Hidroids?

i have a small group of digitate hydroids on one of my rocks and would like to know how to get rid of them. I tried scarping one off but i think i made the problem worse aas now there is more of them. Any suggestions?

I used a syringe from the salifert calcium test kit, WASHED OUT, and injected some aiptasia withh vinegar.

eh ? hyperdermic? lol. Also the only thing that i can think of where i can get a syring would be from cough medicine. would be good actually as im suffering a really bad chest infection at the moment so could kill two birds with one stone lol.
