How Do I Clean My Sand?

how do i  clean my sand with out sucking it up?

you can either siphon off the top and to get the scum up swirl the siphon around the top to get caught, or you can just move all the sand around to get scum in the filters.

It really depends on how deep the sand is and if there are plants rooted in it or not. As a rule though you can not go wrong just skimming the surface and not going deep at all.

oh t thanks but i cant do that last one i have plant substrate under my sand
