how do dwarf gouramis breed>????

Dwarf Gouramis breed by building nests out of bubbles at the surface of the water. Usually you need floating plant and calm water conditions to both induce breeding and allow the nest to survive. If you really want to know more, (water conditions etc.) I reccomend buying a book about breeding them there are plenty of good ones,

I have never seen a book on gouramis unless ur talking about over the net which i can't do i dont have redit card ofr whatever!! :/

These are bubble nesters. They build fairly large ones. There needs to be minimal current, Like Xentiy7 said a plant stopping it would be great!!!. Seccondly when they mate and the eggs are in the nest. If you want any chance of survival never look at the colisa. If you watch him guard the nest he will think your going to eat the eggs. Due to this he thinks ohh then i might as well get the nutrition so he eats em. Therefore it would be good to make sure u don't look at him. or you could put a breeding nest around it. Or you can add the eggs to a seccond tank leave about 10% though so he has somehting to do. ;)

i think i understand about them building a nest do they need plants ??? and do i have to take the feamle out afterwards! cos i was thinking i will need a big net for a gold gourami which gorws to 11 cm  :/
