How can you tell?

I want to get some Live Rock for my tank, but i wasn't sure how to tell if the live Rock is cured or not. How do you guyz look for when picking out live rock which is cured? If any of you guys or gurls won't mind helping me out here, i would really appreciated. Thanks A Whole BUNCH!

Live rock? Is it for a saltwater tank? If it is for a saltwater tank I'd post in the marine section. I'm sure they would be able to help you. If it is for a freshwater tank - I never heard of freshwater live rock. Sorry.
