How Can You Tell The Difference Between

how can you tell the difference between male and female neon tetras.
i am eager to breed them and have provided lots of vegetation for them
and they love it

i have a golden gourami and i was thinking about getting 5 neon tetras.
would thhis be ok.
i also have 2 rummy nose tetras (3 died) would this be ok

apart from this is in the wrong forum dude... what did your 3 rummys die from?

I have neons with a dwarf gourami. He occasionally chases them to show who is boss but with no real conviction and they can easily shake him off. No problems living together.

However the dwarf gourami will only grow to 2 inches whereas the gold gourami can hit 6 inches so once it grows it could be a problem.

i have a corner of plants now just for the tetras, this is where
if anywere they will lay thier eggs right.
